The Version 7.7 release includes the following changes and enhancements.

Additional event information field restored

The Additional event information field and the corresponding {Event Extra_Info} macro have been restored.

Easier setting of event time zones

You no longer have to uncheck the Use default organization settings checkbox to choose the timezone for an event. Now, a Time zone dropdown is automatically displayed that defaults to your timezone specified on your Organization details screen.

Change to AffiniPay payment processing

We've changed the way we process payments received via Wild Apricot Payments/AffiniPay to reduce the chances of a payment not being recorded in your Wild Apricot account. Now, the payment is recorded after it is authorized but before the funds are actually transferred.

Bug fixes

A number of issues identified by our clients have been fixed, including but not limited to the following:

  • Unable to select text when using new email editor with Microsoft Edge
  • Error when inserting images with new email editor if there is no Pictures folder 
  • Some text is missing when emailing using the new email editor
  • Test message sent using new email editor does not match message preview  
  • Left layout border displayed smaller than specified in design mode in new email editor
  • Add link to images dialog does not appear for slideshow gadget
  • No scroll bar to view additional fields within donation form gadget
  • Unable to change page template for duplicate page
  • Member pictures not appearing in member directory but appearing in member profile
  • Unknown error when paying or donating using PayPal Payflow Pro
  • API returns internal error when posting event
