Downloading the member app

WildApricot's member app is a single app that different associations can use for their members. To download the WildApricot member app for Android, tap here.

The WildApricot Android app is compatible with the most up-to-date version of Android and the previous 4 major versions. For example, if the most up-to-date version is 14.x, versions 13.x, 12.x, 11.x, and 10.x are also supported.

Logging in

When you first open the member app, you'll be asked whether you wish to receive notifications, like renewal reminders, from the app. Next, you'll be asked to log in using the same email address and password you use to access your WildApricot site.

If there are multiple WildApricot accounts associated with your email address and password, you will be then asked to choose the organization you want to log into.

After logging in, you'll be asked to agree to the terms of use, if you haven’t already done so on the browser version of WildApricot.

You can log out of the app from the main menu.

Navigating the member app

Depending on how your WildApricot site is set up, the WildApricot member app can consist of the following modules: Profile, Members, Events, Tickets. When you first log in to the app, you will be taken to the Profile module.

To jump to another module, swipe from the left and tap the module name from the menu that appears.

To log out of the member app, tap Log out.

Viewing your profile

You can view your profile by tapping Profile from the main menu.

From your profile, you can view your membership card by tapping My card.

Renewing your membership

On your profile tab, an option to renew will appear, along with the date of your next renewal.

If your renewal date is within a week, the message indicating the number of days to renewal will appear, along with a Renew button you can tap to start the renewal process.

If you enabled notifications from the app, renewal reminder messages will also appear on your device's notification panel.

If your membership has expired, the message to that effect will appear.

When you tap the Renew button, a screen will appear where you can review and update your membership details. If a discount coupon was enabled for membership renewals for the current membership level, a field will appear where you can enter the coupon code.

After you tap the Continue button at the bottom of the screen, you'll have the option to pay online or get invoiced, depending on whether those options were enabled for your membership level.

If you choose to be invoiced, an option will appear on your profile tab to complete the renewal process by paying online.

Cancel a pending membership renewal

You can cancel a membership renewal you have initiated but not yet paid.

If you select Cancel renewal instead of Pay renewal invoice, the renewal will be canceled, the invoice will be voided, and your renewal date will stay the same.

Viewing the member directory

Unless it was disabled within the mobile app settings for your WildApricot site, you can view a member directory by tapping Members from the main menu.

Tapping on a member within the directory will display that member's profile (subject to their privacy settings).

To send an email message to the member, tap the member's email address.

Viewing the events list

Unless it was disabled within the mobile app settings for your WildApricot site, you can view an event calendar showing upcoming events by tapping Events within the main menu.

A ticket icon will appear beside events for which you are already registered.

Tapping any of the events within the list will display the details of that event.

To add the event to your calendar app, tap Add to calendar. You'll be asked for permission to access your calendar.

Tapping on the location within the event details will display the location within your map app.

To view the event description, tap the Info tab.

To view the registrants who have agreed to have their names listed, tap the Registrants tab.

If the event has multiple sessions, you can tap View all sessions to view session details.

You can register for the event by tapping the Register button beside the appropriate ticket type. The registration form will appear, along with options to specify the number of guests and indicate whether you want to appear within the public list of event registrants.

You cannot specify the number of guests if the ticket type was set up to collect contact information or full registration information. See Registering guests for an event for information on adding detailed guest information.

Once you complete the registration form and tap Continue, your payment options will appear. Depending on the payment method chosen when the event was set up, you might see Invoice me and/or Pay online buttons.

Once you click a payment option and complete the registration, your ticket will appear within your Tickets module.

If the option to automatically delete an event ticket if not paid within 15 minutes is enabled, a countdown will appear indicating the number of minutes left.

Registering guests for an event

These steps only apply to events where the organizer is collecting contact information or full registration information for guests. If the event organizer is only collecting the number of guests, you can only enter the total number of guests you're registering.

On the Registration form, you can add guest registrants. You can also include contact information or full registration information for your guests if the event organizer is collecting that information. You can do so by tapping the guest registration button in the top right corner of the screen. Or, you can do so by tapping the link below your ticket type. If you haven't added any guests, it will display as No guests.

On the Guests screen, if you haven't added any guests, the event's guest registration limit shows. Tap the icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to add a guest.

On the Add guest screen, you can add registration information for your guest. Tap CONTINUE when you're finished.

You're taken back to the Guests list screen. There, you can view your newly added guest. You can also tap on the kebab menu button to Edit or Delete the guest registration.

After filling in your guest and main registration information for the event, you're taken to the Review and confirm screen. Guests are added to your invoice as a separate line item.

After you've registered, you can check guest information on the Event registration details screen. Guest information is located underneath the main registration information.

Joining the waitlist for an event

If an admin has enabled a registration limit and waitlist in the Ticket types & settings for the event, then you can join the waitlist through the app. Admins can enable the waitlist option for entire events or for specific ticket types.

When an event or ticket type has reached its registration limit, and the admin has enabled a waitlist, you will see a Join waitlist prompt next to the ticket type in place of the Register prompt.

Viewing event tickets

You can view your existing event tickets by tapping Tickets within the main menu.

Tapping one of the ticketss within the list will display the event details.

If the event registration fee is not fully paid, you can tap the Pay button to pay the fee online.

To cancel an event registration, you click the Cancel button within the event details.

The option to cancel a registration is only available if your site administrator has enabled it for your ticket type.

To display the QR code to scan for quick event check-in, tap the QR code option.
